I’m delighted to share some exciting opportunities for your students about TC Energy’s scholarship program!
The scholarship application portal opened on January 22, 2026 and applications are accepted until May 2th, 2026 at 11:59 PST.
 
 TC Energy offers three different scholarships:
-Indigenous Legacy Scholarships
-scholarships for Trades students
-scholarships for STEM focused students

To be eligible for a TC Energy’s Indigenous Legacy scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
-Be enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the upcoming academic year
-Be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
-Be from a Tribal community located near TC Energy’s operations or projects in the U.S.
-Would benefit from supplementary education funding

Quick tips for applying
-As scholarships are available in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico, ensure you are on the correct country page when applying.
-As there are three different types of scholarships (Indigenous Legacy, STEM, and Trades), ensure you are filling out the application for the scholarship that you intend to apply for.  
-You cannot edit your application once it has been submitted, so take your time.
-If selected, you will need to provide proof of mailing address for the check to be delivered to and proof of enrolment in a registered educational institute to receive your scholarship.
-Make sure to provide a working phone number and email address in your application so that you can be contacted if you are selected for a scholarship.
